Universal Basic Income (UBI) is an idea for a different way to organize our society.
It’s a simple but potentially transformative idea:
provide a floor of direct cash income to everyone, unconditionally, for life.
If money is power, and UBI is money to people, then UBI is power to the people.
This floor could serve as a foundation to build upon -
for individuals and families, communities, economies, and for society.
We believe it’s an idea whose time has come.
Now we just have to build it.
